ECGD, the Export Credits Guarantee Department, is the UK's official Export Credit Agency.

ECGD supports UK exporters of capital / semi-capital goods and services, and companies investing overseas, by providing:

Insurance to exporters against payment risks under export contracts;
Guarantees to banks who provide loans that enable buyers to purchase supplies of goods and services from the UK; and
Insurance to UK firms investing overseas.

ECGD works closely with exporters, banks, overseas project sponsors and buyers to provide appropriate forms of support for export contracts. With 90 years’ experience in new and developing markets across the world, ECGD’s knowledge can help exporters in unfamiliar environments.

ECGD have two exciting opportunities to join their Environmental Advisory Unit as a Senior Environmental Adviser and a Senior Social Issues Adviser.
